Refund Policy

Registration refunds will be provided for program withdrawal requests as per the following guidelines in regards to the Fall/Winter Season (Spring League may differ):

1.  All refund requests must be in writing, either by letter or e-mail and must be delivered to:

2.  Full refunds will be provided for withdrawals prior to the MBA season's first seeding game, minus an admin fee of $50. (October 30th). This is for requests based on a family moving. Starting in the 2026 /27 season, families will be required to purchase our insurance option in order to receive a refund for the scenario. They will need to make a claim to our insurance policy partner.

3.  Refunds will be provided to Midget or Juvenile players who withdraw after successfully making a high school division 1 Varsity team, minus an admin fee of $50.

4.  Only in extenuating circumstances (for example a season-ending injury or family relocation) will the executive entertain a request for a pro-rated reimbursement of registration fees if a player withdraws after the MBA seasons first game. The maximum reimbursement the executive may approve under this policy is 80%, less an admin fee of $50. In the 2026 -27 season and onward families will need to have purchased our insurance option in order to receive a refund for this scenario and make a claim with our insurance partner.

5. If a player has been dismissed due to misconduct, no refund will be provided.

6. Once teams are posted, athletes are now outside of the refund window. If an athlete's parents or the athlete themselves are not happy with the placement after team balancing, we do not offer refunds for families looking to switch clubs in hopes their child will play at a higher level elsewhere after placements have been completed. Changes at this time in the process cause major issues when our club could have 10 -12 teams in a division and removing a player from the middle causes a major reshuffle and disrupts a lot of families - plus this is all work done by volunteers. Club reserves the right to not post an athlete on a team unless all registration fees have been made in full.

 

During a delayed season start, such as the 2020-21 season, no refunds will be issued after the MBA announces the official start date of the season.
